Xero vs Zoho Books

Zoho Books charges per organisation, gives each plan a set number of users and shows annual billing first. Xero lists a monthly price for each plan and charges no per-user licence fees. Below is how the two Australian pricing pages set out Ignite, Standard and the plans above them.

Where Xero and Zoho Books differ

  • Zoho's Standard plan is priced per organisation, billed annually, and invites 3 users. Xero shows Ignite as a monthly price and charges no per-user licence fees.
  • Zoho Books fetches bank and card feeds automatically from Standard up, through a bank feeds provider. Xero's pricing page does not set feeds out plan by plan.
  • Multi-currency contacts and automatic exchange rates arrive with Zoho's Professional plan. Xero adds multiple currencies at Comprehensive.
  • Zoho says you are not bound by any contract and can cancel at any time. A Xero subscription renews each month until you cancel it.
