What we do for Bendigo businesses

  • Practitioner payments matched

For clinics that pay contracted practitioners, each payment is matched to the practitioner's invoice or statement, so every amount paid out can be traced in the file.

  • Fees recorded as they're banked

Patient and client fees are recorded as they reach the bank, whether they arrive through a card terminal, a payment platform or a direct transfer.

  • Overdue invoices listed

Firms that bill after the work is done get an aged list each month showing which invoices are unpaid and for how long, so you can decide who to follow up.

What Bendigo business owners ask us

Our clinic pays several contracted practitioners. Can you keep those payments straight?
Yes. Each payment is matched to the invoice or statement it settles, and if your file already separates income by practitioner, we keep that split current. How the arrangements themselves are structured is a question for your accountant.
We're moving from another bookkeeper. What do you need?
Access to your Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks file, statements for the months since the last reconciliation, and any notes your previous bookkeeper left. We check where the reconciliations stopped and carry on from that point.
Which area do the population and business counts describe?
They cover the ABS Significant Urban Area, which groups whole statistical areas around an urban centre or related centres. It can include surrounding rural land and is not a council boundary.
Can you send us reports each month?
Yes. When the month's accounts are reconciled, we send the profit and loss and balance sheet from your file, set beside earlier months so changes stand out. What to do about the figures is a conversation for you and your accountant.
How do you price a practice's bookkeeping?
We look at the number of practitioners and accounts, the volume of transactions and how current the file is, then quote before work starts.
