How we serve Shepparton businesses

  • Fuel cards reconciled

Fuel card statements are reconciled line by line and each charge is recorded against vehicle running costs, so the card balance in the file matches the provider's statement.

  • Freight invoices and remittances

Where customers pay against freight invoices, each remittance is matched to the invoices it covers, and short payments are flagged for you to follow up.

  • Vehicle and trailer finance

Repayments on vehicle and trailer finance are checked against each lender's statement, keeping the loan balances in your file correct.

  • Hire businesses too

Equipment hire falls within the property and hire group on the chart. For hire businesses we record each hire invoice and match it to its payment.

What Shepparton business owners ask

We run several vehicles on fuel cards. Can you keep up with the statements?
Yes. Each fuel card statement is reconciled to its account in Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks, and where your file tracks costs by vehicle, we record them that way.
Can you raise our freight invoices?
Yes. We can raise them in your software from the run sheets or job details you send, or track the invoices you raise yourself. Either way, the aged list shows what each customer still owes.
Why do the figures cover more than the town centre?
They cover the ABS Significant Urban Area, which groups whole statistical areas around an urban centre or related centres. It can include surrounding rural land and is not a council boundary. The population and business counts on this page use that boundary, so they can be larger than a count of the centre alone.
Who can tell us whether payroll tax applies?
The State Revenue Office Victoria or your accountant. This page shows the threshold and rate from the Victorian rules, and either of them can explain how those figures relate to your own wages bill.
How do you quote for a transport business?
We look at how many vehicles, fuel cards and bank accounts the file covers, how many invoices go out and how current the books are. The quote comes before any work.
