Reckon Accounts Hosted set-up, training
Reckon Accounts Hosted is the Reckon Accounts desktop software run online, with the same screens and one licence for each user. It is a separate product from Reckon One, which our Reckon page covers. We move your company file into it, set up the bank imports, reconcile the accounts and train your staff. The pricing and limits below are Reckon's own.
What we do in Reckon Accounts Hosted
- Upload your Reckon Accounts company file from a backup, or start a new file with your account list, items and contacts.
- Set up bank transactions to come in from your bank or through Yodlee, or import statement files where there is no feed.
- Code and reconcile each account in Fast Coding, and clear the old items that were never matched.
- Enter the opening and open balances that Reckon's free conversion leaves out, then check them against your last statements.
- Give each staff member a user role that shows them only the parts of the file they work in.
How a move to Accounts Hosted runs
- 01
Count the logins
We work out who needs to sign in, since each person needs a licence of their own.
- 02
Bring the file across
We upload your Reckon Accounts backup, or start from Reckon's conversion of your lists and add the balances it leaves out.
- 03
Connect and reconcile
We set up the bank imports and reconcile each account in Fast Coding against the statements.
- 04
Train the team
Staff learn to sign in to Hosted. Anyone who used the desktop version will find the same screens there.
