Link My Books set-up for online sellers

Link My Books posts the sales, refunds and fees from each marketplace or store settlement to Xero or QuickBooks Online, so the payout can be matched in your bank feed. We connect your channels, choose the accounts each amount goes to and reconcile the settlements. Its prices are set in the browser, so the details below are plan limits and terms from its pricing page.

What we do in Link My Books

  • Connect each Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify or other store account and link it to your Xero or QuickBooks Online file.
  • Choose the accounts that sales, refunds, marketplace fees and payouts post to, and check the first settlements land there.
  • Match settlement payouts to their bank deposits and reconcile any remaining clearing balance to amounts still awaiting payout.
  • Post older settlements as far back as your plan's history reaches, then reconcile them month by month.
  • Show you where to review settlements and how to spot one whose payout never reached the bank.

How a Link My Books set-up runs

  1. 01

    Count channels and orders

We list your stores and marketplace accounts, since each one counts as a sales channel on your plan.

  2. 02

Connect the channels and the ledger

We link each channel and your ledger, then pick the account each type of amount posts to.

  3. 03

    Catch up past settlements

We post and reconcile earlier settlements back to the start date you choose.

  4. 04

    Keep payouts matched

Each new payout is matched to its bank deposit as it arrives, by you or by us.
