ServiceM8 synced to your accounting

ServiceM8 raises the invoices and records the payments on your jobs, then syncs clients, items, invoices and payments to your accounting package. We connect it to Xero, QuickBooks Online or MYOB, line its items up with your income accounts, reconcile what syncs against the bank and train the office. The plan details below are from ServiceM8's Australian pricing page.

What we do with ServiceM8

  • Connect ServiceM8 to your Xero, QuickBooks Online or MYOB file and agree which side keeps the master client list.
  • Point each ServiceM8 item at an income account, so every synced invoice lands where your profit and loss expects it.
  • Match card payments taken in the app to the payouts that arrive in your bank feed.
  • Remove duplicate clients and invoices left behind by an earlier sync that went wrong.
  • Show the office team how to check a day's synced invoices and payments before the month is closed.

How a ServiceM8 sync is set up

  1. 01

    See how you invoice now

We look at who raises invoices in ServiceM8 and how your customers pay them.

  2. 02

    Connect and map

We connect the accounting package and map items and payment types to accounts.

  3. 03

    Reconcile the first weeks

We check the first weeks of synced invoices and payments against the bank.

  4. 04

    Train the office

Staff learn what syncs, when it syncs and how to put right a sync that fails.
