MYOB bookkeeping for Melbourne businesses

A monthly routine inside your MYOB file, while you stay in charge of who can open it. We reconcile the bank feeds, enter bills as they come in, follow invoices through to payment and run your reports straight from MYOB.

What a month in MYOB looks like

  • Bank feeds reconciled

We work through what the bank feeds bring into MYOB, then check every account against its bank statement and explain any gap, such as a deposit that hasn't cleared yet.

  • What's owed, both ways

Supplier bills go into MYOB as they arrive, and customer payments are applied to the invoices they settle, so what MYOB shows as owing in each direction keeps pace with the payments made.

  • Reports run from MYOB

Your monthly reports come straight out of MYOB, so they're drawn from the same records we reconcile rather than a separate spreadsheet.

  • You decide who's in the file

Our access comes from an invitation you send, with the permissions you pick. Your own login stays as it is, and you can remove ours from the file's user list whenever you choose.

Questions about the monthly MYOB routine

Can your accountant get into the file as well?
Yes. You can invite your accountant to the MYOB file, so they're looking at the records we keep each month rather than a copy sent at year end.
Which reports come out of MYOB each month?
A profit and loss, a balance sheet, and aged lists of what customers owe you and what you owe suppliers. If there's another report MYOB can run that you'd find useful, ask and we'll add it.
What happens to a bank feed line that doesn't match anything?
We ask you about it. Once you've told us what it was, we record it against the right account and carry on with the reconciliation.
Can we still use MYOB ourselves during the month?
Yes. Raise invoices, enter sales or check balances whenever you like. If you reconcile anything yourself, just tell us, so the work isn't repeated.
If we stop, what happens to the file?
It stays yours. You remove our user, and the file and its history carry on in your MYOB subscription.
