MYOB bank feeds, set up and checked

In MYOB Business, a bank feed brings a bank or credit card account's transactions straight into the file. Each feed starts as an application from the Banking hub, made by the business owner or an online admin user. We start the applications with you, follow them until each feed is active and check what comes through. The details below are from MYOB's support page on bank feeds.

What we do with MYOB bank feeds

  • List the bank and credit card accounts to connect, check them against what your MYOB plan allows, then start each application from the Banking hub.
  • Set up a feed for each bank or credit card account, using the primary card number where several cards share one credit card account.
  • Import older transactions from your online banking where the books need history from before a feed started, with dates that stop where the feed begins.
  • Check each match MYOB makes as transactions arrive, and fix any wrong ones before the account is reconciled.
  • Track down a missing transaction through the Bank transactions filters, the feed's status and your online banking, and show your team the same steps.

How we set up bank feeds in MYOB

  1. 01

    Agree the accounts

We list the bank and credit card accounts the business uses and confirm your MYOB plan covers them.

  2. 02

    Apply from the Banking hub

The business owner or an online admin user applies for each feed, and we follow each application's status in the Banking hub.

  3. 03

    Bring in earlier history

Where the books need transactions from before a feed went live, we import them from your online banking without overlapping the feed.

  4. 04

    Check and hand over

We check the first matched transactions, then show your team where to look when a transaction hasn't come through.

General information

MYOB handles each bank feed application, and moving a feed to a different business or subscription is done through a support request to MYOB. Your MYOB plan sets how many bank accounts you can connect. Which category each transaction belongs in is yours to decide, with your accountant where you have one. Sources checked 16 October 2026.
