Bookkeeping for cleaning businesses
Cleaning businesses usually bill regular contract clients on account and take card payments for occasional jobs, while paying out for subcontracted cleaners, supplies and travel between sites. We look after day-to-day bookkeeping for cleaning businesses across Australia.

What we look after
Small business bookkeeping
Contract invoices, subcontractor bills and supplies kept current.
Xero bookkeeping
Contract invoices tracked and payments matched in Xero.
Catch-up bookkeeping
Past months of subcontractor bills and statements caught up.
What the books involve
- Contract invoicing: regular invoices to offices, strata buildings and other commercial clients tracked through to payment, with an aged list of anything overdue each month.
- Occasional jobs: end-of-lease, carpet and window cleans paid by card or transfer matched to the booking, so deposits and final balances sit against the right customer.
- Subcontracted cleaners: their invoices entered and matched to the sites or contracts they worked, which keeps the cost of each contract visible beside what it earns.
- Cleaning chemicals, consumables and equipment bought from suppliers on account entered as the bills arrive, with vehicle running costs and fuel card statements reconciled alongside them.
- Tracking categories in Xero or MYOB set up by contract or site, and bank feeds connected, so monthly reports show income and costs for each client or site.
