Bookkeeping for glaziers

Glaziers handle urgent repairs to broken windows alongside measured jobs such as shower screens, splashbacks and windows for builders, and the glass for each job is usually cut and ordered to size. We look after day-to-day bookkeeping for glaziers across Australia.

What we look after

What the books involve

  • Measure and quote jobs: shower screens, mirrors, splashbacks and glass balustrades invoiced with a deposit when the order is placed and the balance after fitting, with both payments matched to the job.
  • Glass suppliers: cut-to-size and toughened panels and the hardware ordered for each job matched to the supplier's invoice, so remakes and breakages show up as costs against the right job.
  • Urgent repairs and boarding up: after-hours jobs billed to homeowners, shops, property managers or insurers, and each invoice tracked until the payment arrives.
  • Window work for builders: window and door installation on new homes claimed under each contract, with remittances matched against the claims made so far.
  • Vehicles and handling gear: glass trucks, racks, suction lifters and cutting tables recorded as assets, with fuel and running costs coded the same way every month.
