Bookkeeping for chiropractors
Chiropractic and osteopathic clinics take many small payments across a busy appointment book, some split between a health fund and the patient, and some collected ahead as a prepaid care plan. We look after day-to-day bookkeeping for chiropractors and osteopaths across Australia.

What we look after
Small business bookkeeping
Front desk takings, room hire and clinic bills kept current.
Catch-up bookkeeping
Unreconciled months of fund settlements and card takings brought up to date.
Xero bookkeeping
Card settlements and room hire invoices reconciled in your Xero file.
What the books involve
- Front desk settlements: card payments and fund rebates claimed through the terminal on each appointment day matched to the booking software's end-of-day report, with any settlement that fails to arrive listed for follow-up.
- Care plans: prepaid courses of adjustments or treatment recorded when they are sold, with sessions drawn down as patients use them and any refund for unused sessions traced back to the original sale.
- Room hire: massage therapists and other practitioners who rent a treatment room invoiced each month, with their rent payments matched and any arrears shown on the debtor list.
- Counter sales: pillows, lumbar supports, heat packs and creams sold to patients kept in their own income account, and the wholesaler bills for that range entered so the margin on retail can be read.
