Bookkeeping for builders
A new home is paid for in stages as the build reaches each milestone, while trade suppliers and subcontractors bill throughout the job. We look after day-to-day bookkeeping for builders across Australia.

What the books involve
- Stage payments: deposit, base, frame, lock-up, fixing and completion claims tracked against the building contract, and each payment matched when the owner or their lender releases it.
- Variations: extras the owner asks for during the build invoiced on their own and recorded against that house, so the adjusted contract price and the amount left to claim stay clear.
- Trade supplier accounts for timber, concrete, bricks, roofing and fittings: delivery dockets matched to invoices and to the monthly statement, so credits and short deliveries are picked up before paying.
- Subcontracted trades such as bricklayers, carpenters, plumbers and electricians: each invoice entered against the right house and paid on the terms agreed with that trade.
- Costs per home: slab, frame, roofing and finishing costs tracked by job in Xero or MYOB, so each home's margin can be read against the price in its contract.
